SWSAS Athlete Of The Year Nominee

Total Health Performance Rugby League Marcus Moore SWSAS Athlete of the year nominee Campbelltown Camden Narellan Ingleburn

I would like to congratulate Marcus Moore on being nominated for the 2017 South West Sydney Academy of Sport Chairperson Award for Athlete of the Year.

Marcus has been working hard for a fair while now and has been progressing really well. He has been named captain of the under 17's development squad where, from all reports, was a great leader. He is mature for his age and I think this nomination is great recognition of the hard work he has put in.

Like all of us, Marcus still has plenty of work to do to achieve his goals but he is on his way. It is long term plan, you don't have to achieve all of your goals overnight. You have to love what you do and enjoy the journey. I hope this award serves as motivation for Marcus to keep on going no matter what the short term brings.

Marcus only showed me this after me finding out myself. He is a humble kid and more than likely would be embarrassed for me to speak about it. I am just proud of the effort so I thought it very worthwhile to share with our community.

Keep up the good work.
