Am I locked into a contract?

For our one on one, online and group coaching we have 1 month, 3 month and 6-month options depending on which service you select. All other services do not have a contract.

How do I pay?

We have upfront and Direct Debit options available for our programs. We accept cash, Eftpos and direct bank transfer.

 

Do you have After Pay?

No, however, we have payment plans available on request.

 

Do I have to stick to a diet?

Nutrition is a large part of the coaching process. Your coach will give you the tools you need to develop your own diet that will your goals and your lifestyle. Depending on your goal and time frame you have to achieve this, you may have to stick to a strict diet for a period of time. Your coach will educate you and give you the support you need, however, the decision is ultimately yours.

 

Can I cancel at any time?

Yes, however, if it is within your contract time frame you will need to pay out the remainder of your contract.

 

What happens if I miss or cancel a session?

You can make it up within 7 days as long as you meet our cancellation policy.

 

Can I pick my coach?

Yes.

 

Can I take time off?

You can place your program on hold for 4 weeks every 12 months. After this time your program will commence.

 

How do I book an appointment?

You can call or email.

 

Do I have to take supplements?

No.

 

Can I train anytime? No. You will lock in your days and times to train with your coach. You will never train unsupervised.

 

I don’t live in the area. Is there a way I can still train with THP? Yes. We have online programs that can cater to your needs.

Do you have nutrition plans and diets available?

 

Yes. We individualize all programs based on your own specific goals and needs.

How old do you have to be to train?

 

While there is no minimum age, we prefer our youngest athletes to be 8-9 years old. For our rehabilitation and exercise physiology services, there is no minimum age.

I been injured lifting in the past, will I become injured again?

 

Before you start any form of training you will undergo a movement screening process where we will identify areas of concern that could potentially lead to an injury. These areas will be addressed before you start training with your coach. In extreme cases where you are not a candidate for training immediately, we will refer you to our specialist team.

What is Exercise Physiology?

Exercise physiology specializes in the delivery of clinical exercise prescription for people with a broad range of health issues, those at risk of developing health issues, and individuals with acute or chronic injuries. The aims of Exercise Physiology interventions are to prevent or manage chronic disease or injury through exercise, education, support, and lifestyle interventions.

 

What’s the difference between and an Exercise Physiologist and a Physiotherapist?

A physiotherapist offers hands-on treatment while an Exercise Physiologist offers hands-off treatment through clinical exercise prescription.

 

What’s the difference between a Strength Coach and a Personal Trainer?

A personal trainer is a fitness professional, while a Strength Coach is a physical performance specialist who uses exercise prescription to improve performance, specifically the performance in athletic populations.

Can I use my Health Insurance?

Yes, however, you will need to check your level of cover with your provider.

Do you accept Medicare, SIRA or NDIA referrals?
